These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to every purchase made on microsoftsoftwareswap.com. Please read them before you place an order. By completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Microsoft Software Swap is operated by Software Swap LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States.

We are an independent reseller. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation or Autodesk, Inc.

2. What we sell

We sell digital software licences: product keys for Microsoft Windows, Office, Windows Server, Visio, Project, Outlook, SQL Server, Visual Studio and related products, plus selected Autodesk licences. We do not ship physical goods.

Each product page states the edition, the number of devices covered, the licence type (for example Retail, OEM, BIND or MAK) and the activation method. It is your responsibility to check that the product suits your device, operating system and intended use before you buy.

Your use of the software is governed by the software publisher's own licence terms, which you accept when you install and activate it.

Autodesk licences sold on this store are education licences. They are intended for eligible students and educators and are not licensed for commercial use. By purchasing one, you confirm that you meet the publisher's eligibility requirements.

3. Orders

Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and you receive our order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, and refund any payment in full, if a product is unavailable, if a pricing error has occurred, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud.

To protect customers and ourselves from fraud, we may ask you to verify your identity or payment details before we deliver an order. Delivery may be delayed until verification is complete.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Any sales tax or VAT that applies to your order is shown at checkout before you pay.

We accept major credit and debit cards and Apple Pay, processed securely by Stripe, as well as selected cryptocurrencies. The methods available are listed on our payment methods page. We do not store your full card details.

5. Delivery

Products are delivered digitally by email to the address you give at checkout. Delivery is usually within minutes of payment. If an order needs a manual check, delivery can take longer, and we will contact you if anything is needed. If your email has not arrived, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting us. 6. Activation and support

Each order includes the information you need to download, install and activate your product. Our installation guides cover the most common products. If you have any trouble activating a key, contact us before trying further workarounds and we will help you resolve it.

7. Refunds and replacements

Every order is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee and our lifetime replacement warranty. The conditions are set out in full in our refund policy.

Please contact our support team before opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We can usually resolve problems faster directly.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms affects any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live that cannot be excluded by contract.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, profits or business, arising from the use of or inability to use the software. Software is provided by its publisher, and its performance and features are the publisher's responsibility.

10. Trademarks

Microsoft, Windows, Office, Visio, Project, Outlook, SQL Server and Visual Studio are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Autodesk and AutoCAD are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc. These names are used on this site only to identify the products we sell.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
